Sales Policy
- Payment: You can pay by cash, personal check, postal money order, certified check, bank cashier’s check or wire transfer. All of these forms of payment are subject to verification, or cleared by bank before releasing purchased items.
- Sales: Due to the high value of the products we sell, all new items are considered “special order” items and are not returnable. All sales are final at the time of purchase (not at the time of delivery) unless otherwise specified by HiFi Concierge on the sale invoice. Once payment has been accepted the item on order is non-cancelable.
New Products: Products sold as new will be furnished in factory packaging with all appropriate accessories, manuals, warranty cards, etc. Full factory warranty applies.
Demo/Used/Clearance Products: Any demo/used/clearance items are sold on an “as is” basis and all sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. However, we offer generous upgrade and trade in programs. Some used gear offers transferable warranties and others don’t, please inquire about the specific item you are purchasing.
Registry of any product sold by HiFi Concierge is the responsibility of the purchaser. Any necessary shipping to or from the manufacturer is the responsibility of the customer. All warranties are between the customer and the Manufacturer.
- Trade Ins: At times we may accept trade-in equipment towards the purchase of products. All trade-ins must be received by HiFi Concierge prior to or at the time of the delivery of your equipment. If it is not received within one week from the delivery of your new equipment, we reserve the right to charge you for the difference in the purchase price.
- Returns: Defective components will be governed under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. Where warranty returns are necessary, the following policies apply.
New Products: If a new HiFi Concierge product is defective in the first 30 days of ownership, we will make every effort to replace it with a new unit, subject to the manufacturer’s policies (certain manufacturers may permit only repair, not replacement). After 30 days, the customer is responsible for obtaining warranty work with the manufacturer. HiFi Concierge will assist the customer, as necessary and possible. Products, upon mutual agreement, which are not defective may be returned within 10 days of the date of purchase for credit towards another HiFi Concierge product of equal or greater value.
No refunds will be made except by written agreement with HiFi Concierge prior to purchase. The sales invoice will contain the agreement, signed by an owner of HiFi Concierge. Where prior agreement is made, returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge. Returned products must be in original condition, with all packing, manuals and accessories.
Demo Products: Defective HiFi Concierge demo products will be repaired under the terms of the standard manufacturer’s warranty. No refunds will be made. Exchange or trade-up is not available.
Internet and Phone Sales
No Returns: All sales are final, except for damaged goods (see below).
Exchanges: Defective items or products that are “dead on arrival” (DOA) are subject to the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty and may be exchanged with prior approval by the manufacturer. Please note: We cannot accept packages for return if they are not complete or not in their original manufacturer’s packaging.
Damaged Shipments: If you receive a shipping carton that shows obvious damage and was delivered from a recognized commercial carrier such as UPS, FedEx, etc., then refuse the shipment and contact us immediately. If upon opening a carton you discover concealed damage, contact us right away to arrange for an inspection. Any and all claims for shipping damage must be reported immediately and noted on the bill of lading at the time of receipt. Concealed damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery of the product.
Product Compatibility: HiFi Concierge is not responsible for product compatibility problems. Please contact the manufacturer for assistance.
