• With the knowledge in hand to design minimally invasive electronics without needing to be minimalistic, we decided that our preamp should be complete, very complete. The basic Makua is an extremely transparent gain stage and a programmable routing matrix. The chassis has ample room to fit optional extras, most notably a DAC and a phono stage. The 6 preset buttons are programmable via RS232 or Bluetooth to access any combination of channel, processing and routing. In a system with mainly digital sources, the preset buttons would be programmed to select between them. Vinyl lovers on the other hand might want to use several buttons to select the same turntable but with different EQ settings to suit their large collection of historic LP's.
  • From day one, our idea has been to bring about what has been missing in our audio listening experience. What we found to be missing is exactly what we have incorporated into our designs. Over the years, we have realized that the evolution of a loudspeaker has been limited by the acoustic contributions of the enclosure in which it is contained. Rather than combat these unwanted sonics inherent to traditional boxed speaker designs, we have chosen to eliminate the problem entirely. While the open baffle speaker is not a new concept, today's technology, combined with advancements in design and materials, has allowed us to focus on what we believe is the true evolution of this design.
  • Kula is an a la carte modular design creating a fusion of highly technical previous accomplishments. The chassis itself is borrowed from the acclaimed Makua preamp, as is the line stage section and its optional phono stage with independent adjustable settings and up to 6 separate inputs. The optional DAC section which also is available in the Makua, is identical to the world-class Tambaqui stand-alone unit and features 5 digital inputs including Roon endpoint and Bluetooth. Additionally, the Kula incorporates a Mola Mola exclusive amplifier which boast an output of 150 Watts @8 Ohm, doubling into 300 Watts @4 Ohm. Clearly enough power to drive any speaker with ease.
  • In the years gone by since the original release of the Mola Mola Kaluga power amplifier, we have been working on further improvement of our class D technology. With the Mola Mola Ossetra we have made another significant step in our Proprietary, Mola Mola Trajectum, amplifier technology. The design of the Mola Mola Ossetra amplifier started from a blank sheet, redesigning every aspect of the amplifier and extending its capabilities beyond the highest expectations. On the power supply side, next to a significant noise reduction we improved both dynamic and continues output power. Combined with the vastly increased current capabilities of the amplifier output stage, it makes this amplifier able to drive practically any load.
  • The Mola Mola Perca is a stereo power amplifier in our well-known half size chassis. Capable of delivering 150 Watts into an 8 Ohm load and doubling down to 300 Watts into 4 Ohm, it will drive any loudspeaker with ease, refinement, and clarity. The ultra-low distortion class A input stages are implemented on a separate board, together with their own high performance voltage regulation.
Taking the NCORE® technology from our mother company Hypex Electronics as a reference point we set out to refine our Class D, self-oscillating principle and feedback concept, resulting in our proprietary Mola Mola Trajectum platform which is also applied in the Mola Mola Kula integrated amplifier.
  • The turntable is divided into 3 levels which, according to the principle of ‚Constrained Layer Damping‘, ensure that the unavoidable interference from the drive motor is kept as far away as possible from the tonearm and cartridge. In the lower level are the 3 adjustable feet that connect the entire turntable to the stand. The drive motor is also installed there, as well as the motor control and the XLR terminal. The center level, connected to the lower and upper levels by a special adhesive layer, carries only the armboard and the tonearm. The platter bearing and the control panel are mounted on the top level. By choosing different wood materials, each level is optimised in terms of vibration. Disturbances are greatly reduced in stages from the drive level to the tonearm level. The result of this mix of materials and the construction is the impressive quietness of the turntable.
  • As Heritage was meant to be a tribute to the work of Gianni Borinato, co-founder of Pathos, a heartfelt acknowledgment of his innovations and contributions to the world of audiophiles, similarly InPoL Legacy represents the ideal legacy of Gaetano Zanini, co-founder, and owner of Pathos. A superb design, the ultimate in Pathos technology packed into an integrated amplifier, which takes the listening philosophy developed over 25 years by the company to extremes, both in terms of component choice and the absolute performance of this masterpiece.
  • InPol² Mk2 is the evolution of the already well-known InPol², a historical exponent of the second generation of InPoL® amplifiers. The InPol² Mk2 was born from the need to have more power on 4Ω (20% more) and, consequently, more BIAS current. We also wanted to improve the power supply of the power amp. Last but not least, we wanted to offer the possibility of directly connecting digital sources, thanks to the integration with our HiDac Mk2.
  • Kratos’ name directly comes from its most important feature: power. In Greek mythology, indeed, Kratos was the god of strength, might and power. Kratos is based on Pathos’ hybrid circuit, with tubes pre-stage and Mosfet final stage; it has 200W for each channel. But that’s not all. Kratos’ pre-stage and final stage are clearly separated, with a prestigious pre-out and direct input to final stage; both pre-out and final stages are balanced XLR . Its preamplification circuit is in pure class A; it uses Tung-Sol ECC803s tubes: sound is warm, deep, dynamic. Final Mosfet stage in class AB is strongly polarized in class A; its great power both at 8 and 4 Ohms makes Kratos able to drive any loudspeaker. Kratos is also headphone amplifier with a dedicated circuitry (2 W @ 32 Ω). Design is inspired by Logos, the great Pathos’ historic product. But this is a simple aesthetic affinity: similarities stops here. Kratos hides new technical solutions which make it the leading-edge-product between non-InPol amplifiers. Kratos’ basic features (5 RCA, 2 balanced XLR, digital display, remote-controlled functions) could be improved by a DAC (optional). Thanks to the optional DAC module featuring the HiDac Mk2 board, Kratos will be able to receive all your music from your PC by USB or from a digital source by S/PDIF.
  • We are convinced that smart integration of functions yields higher audio quality. The MU2 combines a music streamer with a superb DAC and a reference quality analog pre amp. Its built-in DAC takes full advantage of the Grimm Audio low jitter clock and high performance FPGA processor. A relay based analog volume control enables the MU2 to become the true ‘hub’ of your hifi system for both digital and analog sources. Just like with its sister product, the ‘digital output’ MU1, a Roon Labs server is on board so no external computer is needed to enjoy perfect streaming.
  • For the PW1 “Phono Wizard”, Peter managed to develop a solid state phono preamplifier that matches his best tube based designs. Peter believes that designing a good phono preamp is not about achieving the lowest possible harmonic distortion as an isolated parameter. He searches for an elegantly minimalistic circuit design in which he optimizes the ‘electric environment’ of all the active components, in conjunction with a meticulously tuned power supply. Needless to say that passive components like capacitors and resistors are carefully picked.
  • The LS1c is the flagship of our LS1 active loudspeaker series. It is named after the revolutionary TPCD Carbon Composite tweeter that we developed in cooperation with driver manufacturer Seas. Even more important is that we rebuilt all elements of the LS1 design from the ground up: the electronics with latest generation amplifiers, the audio DSP code, the computer aided calibration method, the firmware and the PC/Mac software that controls the entire system. To pick just one example, with the knowledge we gained from developing the MU1 and MU2 FPGA Pure Nyquist filters, we were able to dramatically improve the crossover phase correction filters of the LS1c’s DSP.
  • The SB1 with ‘DMF’ is a technological marvel. By applying ‘Digital Motional Feedback’, a control technology from the renowned Dutch high-tech industry, it became possible to achieve exceptionally low levels of distortion and full dynamic control. With an SB1 added for the bass frequencies, the LS1 system offers low distortion over the full audio band and redefines the term ‘transparency’. This is bass control like you’ve never experienced before.

  • One of the most significant changes is that we no longer make us of aluminum in our cables. Aluminum is popular mainly because it is affordable and easy to work with. But due to its brittle and artificial tone as well as the hysteresis effects it causes, it is in no way a suitable material for audio equipment. That is probably why there aren’t any musical instruments made of aluminum……. Stepping away from using one of the most cherished materials in the audio industry is a radical move, but when pursuing impeccable sound quality, it was necessary. Cables are often overlooked and considered unimportant, but we cannot stress enough that high-quality audio cables are essential for maintaining high-level resonance control as they are prone to micro-vibrations just as any other audio product. Aluminum reinforces these oscillations. So it was a question of either suppress them afterwards and effectively lower the noise floor in a signal carrier, or simply just not use a material that’s inherently sub-optimal for the task. Replacing Aluminum We went for the latter, meaning that all aluminum connector housings in our cables have been replaced with stainless steel, copper and titanium counterparts, applied respectively for our entry-level (X3 and P3), mid-Supreme and D-TC Gold Signature) series. This change significantly improves the performance across the roster and marks the third generation of Ansuz cables. Varieties Available: Digital | Signal | Power | Speaker
